7/15/2023: MFR Cadets Graduation will be at 1400 hours (2pm) Cadets are to show up at 0700. Graduation will end around 1530. If you are attending the graduation it will be hot please bring water. Cadets will be free to leave after the graduation ceremony is over.

Welcome to the Murrieta Fire and Rescue Cadets 2023 Academy page. This page will be your main source of communication as well as help to answer any questions you might have.
** In order to be apart of the 2023 Cadet academy you MUST have submitted an application through mfrcadets.org/apply-now prior to May 1st 2023.
7/13/2023: MFR Cadets will be meeting off site for at Santa Rosa Water Reclamation Facility, 26266 Washington Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562 Thursday 7/13.
Pick up location at the end of the day will be at our normal location (Murrieta Valley High School).
Please read and follow all directions below.

Pick Up Location: Murrieta Valley High School at 1700 hours (5 pm)
Details:
Show up in PT gear
Park across the street upon arrival ( we will all drive in together)
If you are getting dropped of you can wait across the street. Be lined up and maintain a professional attitude.
Make sure you bring your uniform. It is recommended to have two pairs of socks and at least 2 t-shirts.
Bring Lunch
Bring a snack for after PT
Bring plenty of water and electrolytes
If you have a lawn chair bring it. There is no seating.
7/6/2023 Update
******We are aware that you will NOT have your Uniform Collared Shirt for the first few days of the academy.*****
*****Please show up in your in uniform pants and Cadet T-Shirt.******
Uniforms are being boxed and 2 Hott Activewear will contact when you for pick up. Uniforms shirts have been delayed from the manufacturer and are anticipated to be here on the week of the academy. We will pick up and hand out the uniform shirts in the academy when they are delivered.
Please bring $20 dollar if you would like a CPR card and watch the attached videos before the start of the academy.

Time: 0800-1200 (Please arrive on time as we will begin promptly at 0800. In case of any delays during the uniform fitting, please anticipate being there slightly after 1200)
Location: Murrieta Valley High School Performing Arts Center
Attire: Dress appropriately for the occasion.
Items to bring: Please bring a pen, notepad, and cash or credit card to purchase your uniform.
Expectations: We cordially invite you and your parents to attend our orientation day to prepare you for the MFR Cadet Program. During the event, we will introduce you to the program, explain the cadet academy, conduct a brief interview, and fit you for your uniform.
Uniform fitting will be conducted by 2 Hot Activewear, who will be present on-site. Payment will be due at the time of the fitting, and you can refer to the order sheet for pricing details.
This form is to only be completed upon check in on the day of the orientation if your information is incorrect.
